On the first floor, the Living Room retains its original charm and detailed workmanship. It boasts comfortable period furnishings and textiles. With commanding views of Mt Tamalpias, this grand room, features floor to ceiling glass French doors leading to the garden terraces and offers three large picture windows overlooking the lawn and gardens. The living room comfortably seats up to 50 guests on sofas and stuffed chairs, or up to 125 guests for seated receptions and events.

The living room also includes a solarium and a fireplace (used by arrangement with the Site Director only), reading nooks, a piano, a large screen TV/DVD and an IPod compatible stereo. It is an excellent choice for larger meetings.

The Dining Room, also on the first floor, can also be used for meals, as a meeting area or as dance floor. It too is rich in original charm and detailed workmanship. The hardwood floors, carved crown molding and carefully preserved woodwork are reminiscent of the building’s historic past. Banks of French windows flood the room with natural light.
